PTO

SSSD PTO is a parent-teacher organization that works together to make our schools a better place for our students, teachers and staff! The SSSD PTO is its own entity that benefits the entire SSSD student body and is separate from the Athletic, Band or Choir Boosters. Our meetings are typically the 1st Monday of the month at 5:45 p.m. (with a few exceptions) in the Middle School Board Room.

  • By providing a pool of volunteers for events and donations as needed

  • By giving feedback to our school and administration when asked

  • By coordinating community and corporate involvement in school support

  • By feeding teachers a meal during parent/teacher conferences

  • By signing up to bring snacks or meals for our teachers via digital sign ups, email, Facebook, or flyers sent home

  • Sending in box tops or scanning in receipts into the box tops app (Box Tops 360)

  • And so much more!

Studies show that parental involvement in a child’s education is one of the most important factors in raising student self-esteem and academic achievement.  We realize that each of our families is unique – with its own priorities, needs, talents, and time constraints – consequently, we strive to provide as many different kinds of opportunities for parental involvement as possible.
