🌟 Proud Moment for SSHS TSA! 🌟 Our TSA chapter leaders had an incredible experience attending C.O.L.A. (Chapter Officer Leadership Academy) in Little Rock this week! Students participated in a series of activities that helped them grow as leaders, and they took full advantage of the opportunity to connect with peers from across Arkansas. Through engaging breakout sessions, they learned valuable skills in relationship-building, effective leadership, fundraising, and public speaking. We can’t wait to see how they’ll bring these new insights back to SSHS! #PantherNation

Nurse Cassie’s Foundations of Healthcare class recently delved into the fascinating world of forensic science with a unique twist—a Pickle Autopsy! Students analyzed the cause and manner of “death,” collected evidence, and prepared a full autopsy report. They also explored various careers within the forensic field. It was a fun and educational experience that highlighted the intersection of healthcare and forensics! #PantherNation

📐💫 Learning Through Leaps & Bungees! 💫📐 Mrs. Saegert's students dove into the world of statistics today with a hands-on Barbie Bungee experiment! Using the least squares regression line (LSRL), students made predictions on the perfect number of rubber bands to drop Barbie as close to the floor as possible—without touching! The stakes were high from both the 3rd floor and 2nd floor landings, resulting in some intense calculations and competition. We had winners from both floors, and a lot of fun with predictions and precision! #PantherNation

Exciting Learning In Accounting I and II 🐾 Our students are diving into real-life scenarios to recommend the best business ownership options. They’ll not only suggest the ideal structure but also provide solid rationale for their choices. Stay tuned for their insights! #PantherNation
