Allen families! We’re excited to pilot a new engagement app called Stopfinder. This platform is designed to keep you informed in real time about your child’s bus location and when they arrive at school. Right now, the pilot is limited to Allen Elementary as we work through any initial kinks—thank you for your patience and support! We plan to expand access districtwide later this summer, around late July or early August. If your child is not a bus rider, disregard this message.
❗ Please check your email for a message from Stopfinder (check your spam folder too). It will include instructions on how to sign up and get started. ❗
If you did not receive an email, it likely means your contact information is not up to date in our system. Please call the Allen office to update your email. Thank you!

Families with negative balances will receive reminders, payment links, and information about payment plans over the next several weeks via texts, emails, and letters home, so we can work together to clear accounts by May 1st.
Accounts may be referred to a third-party collection agency beginning May 1st only if the balance exceeds $100, is 90+ days past due, and multiple contact attempts have been made. Most importantly, NO student will ever be denied a meal. Even if they have significant meal debt.
If you need help with payments or applying for free or reduced meals, please contact our Child Nutrition Department ⬇️
Director, Joanna Trimble at 479-524-3191 ext. 10134 or trimblej@gosiloam.com.

Parents, note that the city plans to fully remove and rebuild the swimming pool parking lot starting on Monday, February 16th, and it is estimated to last about 6 weeks. We know that several parents from Allen and Intermediate use this parking lot for pick up and drop off during the day. Please note this change and use the correct areas for each school for pick up and drop off. Thank you!
