Graduation Regalia 2025
The required graduation regalia for the SSHS commencement ceremony is the cap and gown ordered from Jostens. Caps and gowns cannot be decorated.
Students recognized with additional regalia, including collars, stoles, medals, and honor cords, have been awarded these items based on membership in organizations that require exemplary academic achievements beyond participation.
With approval from the principal, students who have enlisted in the military may wear their military regalia.
Any changes to the graduation regalia must have been approved by the administration in October.
If a student is wearing regalia that has not been approved, they will be asked to place the item(s) in a ziplock bag, label it with their name using a Sharpie, and deposit it in a designated bin for pickup after the ceremony. Students will not be permitted to walk at graduation if they are wearing unapproved regalia.
