The SSHS Robotics teams had a fantastic weekend in their last tournament of the season! Technocrats dominated the qualifying rounds, finishing in 1st place! They teamed up with Gentry in the alliance rounds and secured 5th place overall. Round Table had a solid run, finishing 12th in the qualifying rounds before teaming up with Conway to clinch 3rd place in the tournament! Our beginning team, the Donut Wranglers, wrapped up their season with a strong showing in both tournament play and skills, setting the stage for future success! A special highlight of the event was a visit from the Conway Bomb Squad Robots, giving our teams an exciting look at high-level robotics in action! Now, our teams eagerly await to see if their state skills scores are high enough to earn them an invitation to the State Conference in March! #PantherNation

Through hands-on experimentation, they explored the relationship between tension and motion, demonstrating key principles of potential and kinetic energy. 🏆 FFA VICTORIES! 🏆 Our FFA members continue to shine! 🔹 Arkansas FFA Auctioneering Contest (Jan. 31) – Jaxson DeVoe, Camryn Whorton, and Cooper Ward made history as the first from our chapter to compete at this event in Hot Springs! All three did an incredible job, with Camryn finishing in the TOP 10, securing her spot at the state convention in April! 🔹 Northwest District Leadership Contest (Jan. 31) – After dominating at the subarea contest in December, our chapter brought the heat to Arkansas Tech University! They competed in Parliamentary Procedure, Creed Speaking, Prepared Public Speaking, and Discussion Meet. Special shoutout to Christian Barrett for placing 2nd in Discussion Meet, earning a ticket to state in April! 👏 We’re beyond proud of these students for their hard work and dedication!
