On April 2nd, 36 SSHS TSA students competed in over 15 events at the Arkansas State TSA Competition! We’re proud to announce that 21 students have qualified for Nationals in Nashville!

Our 9th-grade Physical Science students put their engineering skills to the test this week with an Egg Drop Project—but with a twist! Instead of eggs, they designed and built protective devices to save their water balloons from a high drop, all while applying Newton’s Laws of Motion.
From parachutes to shock-absorbing cradles, these young scientists got creative to cushion the impact. Did their designs survive the fall? Let’s just say… some made quite a splash! #PantherNation

Our students put their Spanish skills to the test on a language immersion field trip to Mr. Taco Loco and Café Con Chisme! The challenge? Communicate only in Spanish!
