Mr. Morsman’s class, along with Ms. Pellagrin, take a field trip to Logan Springs Preserve to learn about and participate in hands-on conservation efforts. Students work with IRWP and The Nature Conservancy on projects like water quality monitoring and explore ways we can protect our natural resources. Evan stands among more than 16,000 of the highest-scoring students across the country, selected based on exceptional PSAT performance. This places him in a truly elite group with the opportunity to continue competing for nearly $26 million in National Merit Scholarships to be awarded this spring. To advance to Finalist standing — which 95% of Semifinalists are expected to do — Evan must meet rigorous academic and application requirements. About half of all Finalists will go on to earn the title of National Merit Scholar.
