Pickle Dissection Alert! SSHS students took their first steps into the world of dissection with a fun (and low-stakes!) challenge: dissecting pickles! Their mission? Extract 10 pickle seeds each using scalpels, probes, and forceps—perfect practice for precision and technique. It was a fantastic hands-on experience to sharpen their skills before diving into more complex dissections. Proud of their focus and teamwork! #PantherNation
CASS II Seniors showcased their skills the past few weeks as they learned components of various HVAC Units, Industrial Hydraulic Systems, and supported the Kind At Heart Ministries as they built, stained, cleared, and operated equipment at an off-site community project! In our Anatomy and Physiology class, we kicked off an exciting project called "No Guts, No Glory!" Students teamed up, traced one of their group members, and labeled as many organs and bones as they could—all without the internet!
