SAY HELLO TO YOUR 2025 REINDEER GAMES WINNERS 🎉 Let's goooooo, MS and Paws & Claws. Each year our district hosts an internal festive holiday competition and last year Allen Elementary took the gold...we said, "This year it's on!!" This morning, our teachers got spoiled with Sleepy Hollow giant cinnamon rolls, turnovers, parfaits, fruit, Casey's breakfast pizzas, donuts, and Chick-fil-A nuggets. We also got the ugly, but highly coveted trophy to showcase our efforts. A GREAT way to end the week!! Happy holidays, MS 🙂

🎄 Holiday Break Reminder 🎄As we head into the festive season, we want to remind our families that Christmas Break begins December 22 and continues through January 6. Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 7.
Please note that all school and district offices will be closed from December 22–January 2. Offices will reopen on Monday, January 5.

Today’s winter pep rally was truly one for the books! Students enjoyed fun games, an energy-filled performance from our band, and the beautiful voices of our choir. We celebrated our basketball athletes and all the hard work they’re putting in this season, and we recognized our winter guard for their incredible talent already shining through. ⭐To top it all off, we were honored to have local and state representatives from Special Olympics join us to present MS with our Unified School Banner—a powerful recognition of the inclusive culture our staff and students live out every day.
And as if that weren’t enough, we received an additional surprise: the 2025 ESPN Honor Roll Award, further highlighting our commitment to inclusivity and excellence. 👏 What a day! #Limitless

From compounds to the “Capri” Sun and the moon, middle schoolers experienced science yesterday! Mr. Bell demonstrated the relationship between water and gravity from the Roman aqueducts to NASA scientists. 7th graders built molecules and compounds, and 8th graders reviewed phases of the moon by creating their own foldable, pocket-sized reference guide. It was a great day of learning. #Limitless

This past few weeks in Ms. Conn’s 8th-grade science classes, students became paleontologists! In one lab, they created rock columns and studied geological time, and in another, they analyzed fossils to identify an ancient animal. #Limitless

This beautiful weather has been too nice to stay indoors! Ms. Brown’s classes have been heading outside to read The Outsiders in small groups. Students are analyzing characters, discussing literary devices and elements, and will wrap up the unit by creating their own narrative writings. #Limitless
