Families with negative balances will receive reminders, payment links, and information about payment plans over the next several weeks via texts, emails, and letters home, so we can work together to clear accounts by May 1st.
Accounts may be referred to a third-party collection agency beginning May 1st only if the balance exceeds $100, is 90+ days past due, and multiple contact attempts have been made. Most importantly, NO student will ever be denied a meal. Even if they have significant meal debt.
If you need help with payments or applying for free or reduced meals, please contact our Child Nutrition Department ⬇️

Our wonderful PTO is working to provide dinner for our amazing teachers during Parent-Teacher Conference nights on Tuesday and Thursday. Our teachers will be staying late to meet with families, and we would love to help take care of them with a meal.
If you are able, please take a moment to sign up and contribute.

Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated! Thank you for supporting our Northside teachers! 🍽️✨
We encourage families to check out eWallet, a simple and secure way to add money for your child to shop at the Book Fair. It’s a great option so students don’t have to worry about carrying or losing cash. You can find the link for that on our Northside Scholastic website.

Our Scholastic Book Fair begins Friday, March 13 and will run through Thursday, March 19.
Students will shop during their regular library day. If you are unsure when your child’s library day is, please reach out to their teacher.
Families will also have the opportunity to shop together! The book fair will be open late on Tuesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 19 during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
We can’t wait to see our students excited about new books and discovering their next favorite read! 📖💙

Today, Mrs. Kaitlin Vallieres was honored as our Teacher of the Year! This recognition was especially meaningful because it was selected by a vote of her peers.
Mrs. Vallieres truly represents what it means to be an outstanding educator. She is exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled, and she continues to guide and inspire all students every day. Her passion for teaching and commitment to our school community make a lasting impact on everyone around her.
Congratulations, Mrs. Vallieres! We are so proud of you! 🍎✨

The book fair will also be open later during Parent-Teacher Conferences, giving families a chance to shop together.
For an easy and cashless way for your child to shop, consider setting up a Scholastic eWallet. This digital payment option lets you add funds for your student to spend at the fair without needing to send cash to school.

Today our students had a fantastic time learning about a variety of careers during Career Day! We were excited to welcome professionals who shared about their important work as a plant nursery grower, nurse practitioner, optometrist (eye doctor), veterinarian, decorator, farmer, and a City of Siloam Springs recycling specialist.
Students loved getting to see and experience so many things firsthand—from meeting a live tortoise and visiting with goats to learning how the recycling truck works and why recycling is so important in our community.
A big thank you to all of our presenters who took time out of their day to inspire our students and teach them about the many possibilities for their future! 🌱🐢🚛

Mark your calendars:
