🎨🎥 As part of CTE Month, today we’re highlighting Graphic Design, Fashion Design, and Media Design. Students in these pathways are using creativity, technology, and storytelling to design visuals, apparel, and media content while preparing for careers in creative industries.
🎨 Graphic Design students develop skills in visual design, branding, digital illustration, and professional design software. Students learn these skills through hands-on participation in Panther Creative, our school-based marketing and graphic design firm, where they create real designs for the school, district, and community. This pathway prepares students for careers in graphic design, marketing, and creative industries.
🎥 Media Design students develop skills in video production, live broadcasting, audio, editing, storytelling, and digital media ethics. Students apply these skills through hands-on participation in our school and district-wide live streaming and broadcasting service, producing a weekly show for the school and creating media content for district events and film projects. This real-world experience prepares students for careers in media, broadcasting, and digital communications.
👗 Fashion and Interior Design students work hands-on in a sewing lab equipped with sewing machines, sergers, and embroidery machines. Students sketch, design, and create original pieces from start to finish while developing skills for fashion and design careers. #Limitless

SSHS Panther Nation gets hands-on with futures that are LIMITLESS. The Be Proud Be Pro Truck brings an interactive career exploration experience to campus, giving students the opportunity to explore high-demand fields like skilled trades, healthcare, IT, and more. This program was created to connect students with real-world career pathways through immersive, hands-on learning. The mobile workshop allows students to explore tools, technology, and career options—helping them discover interests, build confidence, and see the LIMITLESS possibilities ahead.

🎭✨We are SO proud of our students who represented us at the State Thespian Festival this year!

🌟They jumped in fully: attending workshops, connecting with colleges, competing in events, watching incredible one-act shows, and even volunteering with Arkansas State Thespians. They also participated alongside the top 30 students across the state in the inaugural Opening Show, and those selected auditioned against nearly 100 students!

🎶A special shoutout to Brinklee McDaniel, who earned a Superior Rating, and an unprecedented perfect score, in Solo Musical! What an incredible accomplishment — your talent, preparation, and heart truly shine.

🩺 Today’s CTE Month spotlight is Healthcare!
Students can choose between pathways such as Emergency Medical Responder and or Registered Medical Assistant, each preparing students for distinct careers in the medical field. Through hands-on learning, students gain real-world healthcare skills and can earn industry-recognized certifications, such as CPR, Phlebotomy, Stop the Bleed, and Registered Medical Assistant certification. These programs prepare students for high-demand, life-saving, and patient-care careers.
