National Library Week celebrates the amazing work of libraries, librarians, and library staff in transforming lives and strengthening our community. It’s a chance for everyone to explore and discover what sparks joy at the library!
Fun fact: The first National Library Week was in 1958 with the theme “Wake Up and Read!”—encouraging Americans to read more and use their libraries.
At the SSHS Library, we’re proud to support our Panthers! This year, we’ve had 113 classroom visits so far and 1,892 books circulated as of today—helping students find joy, one book at a time! #Limitless #PantherNation

Proud of our CASS students who traveled to Hot Springs, Arkansas to compete in the SkillsUSA State Competition in Cabinet Making, Carpentry Display, Electrical Construction Wiring, Plumbing, Welding, and Pipe Welding. This group included both returning students and first-time competitors—stepping onto a big stage and performing at a high level is no small feat.
A special congratulations to senior Julian Fierro for earning Bronze in Electrical Construction Wiring. This year reinforced an important lesson: preparation leads to moments of excellence—but it also takes real courage to step into the arena and compete. Proud of this group and excited to see what’s next in their journey. #Limitless #PantherNation
