This incredible experience was made possible through the NIH STEM outreach grant, Arkansas Technology and Data Science in Health & Medicine (AR Tech DaSH).
We are so grateful to Dr. Phlean and the AR Tech DaSH team for expanding our knowledge and opening our eyes to exciting career possibilities in healthcare and medical technology! #PantherNation

🌳✨ Our Spanish for Heritage and Native Speakers students just wrapped up their poetry unit with a beautiful Poet-tree display and published their very first anthology of original poems—all written in Spanish! So proud of these talented writers for celebrating their heritage through powerful words! #PantherNation



🎨 Our Honors Art 3 students had an incredible opportunity to learn from local artist Bobby Martin as they kicked off their exploration of encaustic painting! Martin, a Professor of Visual Art at John Brown University, is a celebrated artist with work featured in museums and collections across the U.S. and beyond. During his visit, he shared valuable tips and tricks for working with encaustic painting and offered inspiring advice about life as a professional artist. Huge thanks to Bobby Martin for pouring into our students and sparking their creativity! #PantherNation

🛍️✨ Our Marketing students just wrapped up their Shoebox Window Display Project, where they explored how businesses use visual merchandising to attract customers—all while flexing their creative skills! The goal? To understand the role of visual merchandising in marketing by designing and evaluating a creative window display. And wow, did they deliver! From trendy storefronts to themed boutiques, their designs were full of personality and marketing savvy. Today, they took it a step further by giving each other peer feedback, learning how to analyze and improve displays just like real marketing pros. So proud of their hard work, teamwork, and innovation! These future marketers are already thinking outside the (shoe)box! #PantherNation

This prestigious one-year CTE Leadership Development program empowers educators to grow as leaders in Career & Technical Education and deepen their involvement in professional associations. Each year, only one ACTE member is selected from each of the six Region IV states—Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas—and this year, Mrs. Marroquin represented Arkansas with excellence!
