Families with negative balances will receive reminders, payment links, and information about payment plans over the next several weeks via texts, emails, and letters home, so we can work together to clear accounts by May 1st.
Accounts may be referred to a third-party collection agency beginning May 1st only if the balance exceeds $100, is 90+ days past due, and multiple contact attempts have been made. Most importantly, NO student will ever be denied a meal. Even if they have significant meal debt.
If you need help with payments or applying for free or reduced meals, please contact our Child Nutrition Department ⬇️

Intermediate families ‼️Our new office entrance is officially complete and ready to use! 🥳 This will be the main entrance moving forward. (Please note: Our dismissal and car pick-up procedures will remain exactly the same as they have been all year). We also want to extend a BIG thank you to our parents and families for your patience and flexibility throughout this process. Adjusting to new car rider drop-off and pick-up routines isn’t easy, and we truly appreciate your support—we see you, and we are so grateful!

SSIS is incredibly lucky to have such an amazing educator on our team! Mrs. Wilkins has been nominated by her peers as our Teacher of the Year, and it’s easy to see why. She knows her content inside and out, pours her heart into her students, and is without a doubt our planning QUEEN! 👑📚
Her dedication, passion, and commitment to student success make a difference every single day. We are so thankful for everything you do for our school and our students, Mrs. Wilkins!

📣📣📣📣
6th graders who want to try out for 7th grade cheerleading—don’t forget the Parent Meeting on Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30 PM in the SSIS Cafeteria.
To try out, you must have a current physical. The Panther Health and Wellness Clinic is offering $10 physicals for cheer tryouts on Thursday, March 5 during the school day. Students will be walked to the clinic at their appointment time, so parents do not need to attend.
To schedule an appointment, please click the link below and complete the registration form. This is the only $10 physical opportunity that PHWC is offering before cheer tryouts on March 11–12. These physicals are ONLY for cheerleading tryouts (other sports physicals will be offered at another time).

The district will celebrate National Inclusion Week (March 2–6) again this year as part of the Special Olympics Unified Initiative.
We will have dress-up days throughout the week to help celebrate inclusion and school unity. #ssis #panthernation 🐾👯♀️❤️
Monday (March 2nd) - Mismatched Day - "We May All Be Different, but We Can All Get Along."
Tuesday (March 3rd) - Jersey Day - "We May Belong to a Different Team, but We All Enjoy the Game."
Wednesday (March 4th) - Tie-Dye Day/Blending Together Day - "Celebrating our Differences by Blending Together!"
Thursday (March 5th) - Picture Day, Dress for Success! - "Inclusion is Always in Style!"
Friday (March 6th) - PJ Day - "Dreaming of Inclusion!"

This event is a great opportunity to explore the Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways available at SSHS. Families can meet teachers and students, learn about program options, and discover how students can begin their CTE journey as early as middle school.
We look forward to helping you learn how CTE can prepare your student for future success! #PantherNation 🐾❤️
