Open House at Intermediate School this Wednesday, August 6.
Drop-in between 5:00 -7:00 pm!

You will find out who your child’s teachers are on the night of Open House. You and your child will meet the teachers, get their daily schedule and visit classrooms. At 5:30 pm, there will be an “All things Intermediate” information meeting.

Please note: We have construction underway in the front of our building. For Open House, please park in the BACK lot and enter through the cafeteria doors. We will have clearly marked signs on the doors. We are looking forward to having a new, safe office entrance very soon!

At Open House, you will get information on drop-off and pick up for the car line so you are well prepared before the first day of school on August 12!

‼ Just a friendly reminder ‼ The Panther Health and Wellness Center, in partnership with Bright Futures of Siloam Springs, invites you to join us for the Health Fair this Saturday, starting at 10 AM! While registration for backpack distribution has closed, we still encourage you to come enjoy the health fair and all the exciting activities planned. 🎉 We can’t wait to see you there!

❗If your child turns 11 by September 1, they’ll need their 11-year-old immunizations for school. ❗ With the first day of school just a few weeks away, now is the perfect time to check in with your pediatrician and make sure all required vaccinations are up to date. These vaccines help protect your child from serious, preventable diseases like measles, whooping cough, and meningitis - giving them a strong, healthy start to the school year!

☀️ Summer hours are coming to a close, and we're getting back to our regular schedule! Starting this week, all school offices and our district administration office will be open Monday through Friday during normal business hours. 2025–2026 School Supplies Update 📚 This year, things look a little different when it comes to school supplies! We are excited to announce that the majority of school supplies for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will be provided by the district! That means families only need to purchase the few specific items listed for their child’s grade level—nothing more. We understand that “back-to-school shopping” is a special tradition for many families, and we still want you to enjoy that experience. But we also recognize that times are tough, and even with the district supplying the majority of items, it can still be a financial strain. 🎒 Need a little extra support? We encourage families to register for the Bright Futures Backpack Distribution, happening Saturday, August 2nd from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. NOTE: Registration is required by July 21st to participate. Esther, Macy, and Kylie participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run this morning to carry the Flame of Hope to Arkansas State Special Olympics Summer Games. They will witness the final leg of the Torch Run at the Opening Ceremonies on Thursday night in Searcy. These students will represent Area 3 and Siloam Springs at the Special Olympics Summer Games competition this weekend. #ssis #panthernation 🏆♥

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Melody Butler. Mrs. Butler is our our dyslexia interventionist and she is beyond amazing!
