2025–2026 School Supplies Update 📚 This year, things look a little different when it comes to school supplies! We are excited to announce that the majority of school supplies for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will be provided by the district! That means families only need to purchase the few specific items listed for their child’s grade level—nothing more. We understand that “back-to-school shopping” is a special tradition for many families, and we still want you to enjoy that experience. But we also recognize that times are tough, and even with the district supplying the majority of items, it can still be a financial strain.
🎒 Need a little extra support? We encourage families to register for the Bright Futures Backpack Distribution, happening Saturday, August 2nd from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Quick reminder, parents ❗ There will be NO SCHOOL this coming Monday, May 26th, in observance of Memorial Day. All district offices will also be closed - including the Administration Building.
Tuesday, May 27th, will be THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. 😎

Final exams are scheduled for Thursday and Friday of this week. We will have exams in the morning, and follow our regular schedule for the afternoon. Make up finals will be scheduled for Tuesday, May 27th. Please encourage your student to finish strong!

📢 Early Dismissal Due to Severe Weather. 📢 Due to the threat of severe weather, all schools in the district will dismiss two hours early today. Please plan accordingly and stay safe. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Dismissal will run as it typically would at each location, just on the adjusted schedule below:
Northside Elementary Pre-K – 12:30 PM
Northside Kindergarten – 12:50 PM
Allen Elementary – 1:15 PM
Southside Elementary – 12:45 PM
Intermediate School – 1:10 PM
Middle School – 1:04 PM
High School – 1:31 PM
Main Street Academy – 12:52 PM
