Our Gifted and Talented students visited Northside's preschoolers to share stories and inspire a love for reading! It was heartwarming to see the older students engaging with our youngest learners.

Monday, wear red or dress as your favorite reindeer.
Front Hall had so much fun playing Christmas Bump to practice our addition facts. This is a great game that you can play at home. Write numbers 2-12 on a piece of paper. Use colored paper, cereal, or beans to be your game pieces. Roll one dice two times or roll two dice and add the numbers. If you roll a number someone is already on, you bump them off. The game ends when someone is out of pieces or when a timer you set goes off.
Mrs. Anderson's class has been hard at work writing their very own personal narratives! 📝🎉 These budding authors are learning how to share their stories, one thoughtful sentence at a time.
Mrs. Rowe's class wrapped up their exciting unit on Kings and Queens in the most majestic way—with a royal ball! 🎉💂♀️ They celebrated all they learned about life in a castle, royal traditions, and more.
It was a magical day filled with smiles, laughter, and memories fit for royalty! What a wonderful way to bring this special unit to a close. ❤️

This week, students in Mrs. Whittington's STEAM class dove into the magic of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! They learned about all the planning and preparation that goes into creating this iconic event.
Inspired by what they learned, our creative students designed their own parade characters and brought them to life for a Northside Thanksgiving Day Parade! 🎨✨
