Tuesday: Grinch Day! 🎄💚
Wear green or dress up in your favorite Grinch gear.

Our Gifted and Talented students visited Northside's preschoolers to share stories and inspire a love for reading! It was heartwarming to see the older students engaging with our youngest learners.

Parents of NS ❗ We wanted to inform you about a busted water pipe in front of our school. Please rest assured that we are aware of the situation and are working closely with the city to resolve it as quickly as possible. At this time, we plan to have school as usual unless you hear otherwise from us. Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate this unexpected challenge. We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to seeing your students!

Holiday Spirit Week is here!
Get ready to shine bright like Rudolph's nose!
Monday, wear red or dress as your favorite reindeer.

Front Hall had so much fun playing Christmas Bump to practice our addition facts. This is a great game that you can play at home. Write numbers 2-12 on a piece of paper. Use colored paper, cereal, or beans to be your game pieces. Roll one dice two times or roll two dice and add the numbers. If you roll a number someone is already on, you bump them off. The game ends when someone is out of pieces or when a timer you set goes off.

Mrs. Rowe's class wrapped up their exciting unit on Kings and Queens in the most majestic way—with a royal ball! 🎉💂♀️ They celebrated all they learned about life in a castle, royal traditions, and more.
It was a magical day filled with smiles, laughter, and memories fit for royalty! What a wonderful way to bring this special unit to a close. ❤️

Mrs. Anderson's class has been hard at work writing their very own personal narratives! 📝🎉 These budding authors are learning how to share their stories, one thoughtful sentence at a time.

Mrs. Anderson's class spent some quality time reading with a friend today! 📖✨ Partner reading helps build confidence, teamwork, and a love for stories. Seeing our students grow as readers and collaborators is always a joy!
Keep up the great work, readers! 🐛💬

Our students with perfect attendance for the month of November had a blast at the "AttenDANCE" in the gym! 🕺💃

Mrs. Stokes' class is spreading holiday cheer! 🎅✉️ The students had so much fun writing their letters to Santa, sharing their Christmas wishes and spreading joy. 🎄❤️

Miss Miller's class LOVES practicing reading and spelling words together! 🧡 They’ve been working hard to figure out if the beginning, middle, or ending sound is changing in the new word. Watching these young learners grow in confidence and skill is so rewarding!
Great job, everyone—keep up the amazing work! 🎉📚✏️

Students from Front Hall are working hard on sentence segmentation and strengthening their phonological skills! These foundational literacy activities are helping to build strong readers and confident communicators. Keep up the amazing work!

When the weather keeps Mrs. Anderson's class inside, the fun doesn’t stop! 🌟 Indoor recess is the perfect time for our kindergarteners to practice sharing, collaborating, and building friendships while playing games, building towers, and creating masterpieces together.
Learning doesn’t just happen at desks—it happens in laughter, teamwork, and the joy of working together. 💕🧩

This week, students in Mrs. Whittington's STEAM class dove into the magic of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! They learned about all the planning and preparation that goes into creating this iconic event.
Inspired by what they learned, our creative students designed their own parade characters and brought them to life for a Northside Thanksgiving Day Parade! 🎨✨
Their creativity and hard work truly made our halls come alive with holiday spirit. Great job, STEAM superstars! 🧡
