Our transportation team does more than get students to and from school. They help our students feel safe, supported and cared for from the moment they step onto the bus.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Benton County is offering an after-school program for Siloam Springs students!
The program runs Monday through Friday from 2:45–7 p.m. and provides a safe, supportive environment where students can learn, grow and have fun after the school day ends.
Students will have opportunities to build:
📖 Academic Success through enrichment activities
🏃 Healthy Lifestyles through fitness and wellness activities
⭐ Good Character & Citizenship through leadership, responsibility and community involvement
Cost: $220 per child for the fall semester

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is hosting Parent’s Night Out: Protecting Children Online, a two-hour educational course designed to help adults better understand the digital world children navigate every day.
Topics will include:
• Current apps and online trends
• Online safety and avoidance techniques
• Live demonstrations
• Gaming and online platforms
Educators: Continuing Education (CE) credits can be approved for this two-hour course, making this a valuable professional development opportunity as well.

The Siloam Springs Public School Foundation (SSPSF) is an independent non-profit organization that partners with Siloam Springs School District to invest in our schools, teachers, and students. Through community support, the Foundation provides funding for several different initiatives across the district, including the teacher grant program.
At the Back to School Breakfast this year, the SSPSF awarded $16,000 in teacher grants to support creative ideas, classroom projects, and meaningful learning experiences throughout the school year. Congratulations to this year’s grant recipients! We’re excited to see these ideas come to life and the impact they will have on students across our district.
Over the next week, we’ll be highlighting each of the grant recipients! Keep an eye on our school social media pages to learn more about each teacher’s plan for their grant and how it will make a difference for their students.

Siloam Springs School District is pleased to welcome Liz Fuentes to her new role as Operations Manager.
A graduate of Siloam Springs High School, Liz brings a strong connection to Panther Nation, along with experience in district operations and the finance industry. This summer, she further expanded her professional experience through an internship with the Walmart AMP, gaining valuable insight into venue operations and event management.
Liz is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Arkansas State University.
As a Siloam Springs graduate, Liz is excited for the opportunity to return to the district and serve the community that played an important role in her own growth and development. Her experience, organizational skills, and familiarity with the Siloam Springs community will be valuable assets in her new role.

Please join us in welcoming Lindsey Taylor to Siloam Springs Schools as our new Media and Communications Specialist.
Lindsey brings nearly two decades of experience in communications, marketing, event planning, and community engagement. She spent thirteen years in the finance industry before joining the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce, where she spent the past six years leading community development efforts, communications, and signature community events.
During her time with the Chamber, Lindsey managed communications across digital and print platforms, coordinated events like the Siloam Springs Dogwood Festival and 4th Friday, and worked with countless volunteers and community partners to bring those events to life. She has also been a longtime partner of Siloam Springs Schools, helping with events including the Honor Graduate Luncheon and Back to School Breakfast.
Lindsey isn't new to Panther Nation. She is a Siloam Springs High School graduate, a John Brown University graduate, and a proud Panther parent with two children currently enrolled in the district.
She has also given her time and talents to our community through organizations including Ability Tree of Arkansas, Kiwanis, Siloam Springs Public Schools Foundation, the Siloam Springs High School Scholarship Committee, and Main Street Siloam Springs.
We are excited to have Lindsey join our team and can't wait to see the impact she will have helping us tell the story of our district.

The beginning of the school year is always a time of flux, with schedules, information, and systems being updated. As with any new platform, there may be a few bumps along the way.
If you are having trouble receiving notifications or messages, please try these steps first:
1. Delete and reinstall the Siloam Springs School District App.
Make sure you are using the most current version of the app.
2. Check your contact information.
Make sure your current cell phone number and email address are correct in eSchool/PowerSchool.
3. Text START to 20819 and 27806.
If you receive a response, you should be set up to receive future messages. If you do not receive a response, the issue may be related to your cell phone carrier.
4. Still having trouble?
Please contact your child’s school or the district office so we can help troubleshoot the issue.
5. Keep an eye on your email and text messages.
Parents will continue to receive important district updates through email and text. At this point, the majority of the issues we are seeing appear to be related specifically to the app.
