The Siloam Springs School District is launching our “Erase the Debt” Campaign to help families resolve outstanding student meal balances (per the School Board of Education's directive). Districtwide, unpaid meal balances are approaching $500,000. These unpaid balances must ultimately be covered by the district, which limits resources that could otherwise support student programs and services.
Families with negative balances will receive reminders, payment links, and information about payment plans over the next several weeks via texts, emails, and letters home, so we can work together to clear accounts by May 1st.
Accounts may be referred to a third-party collection agency beginning May 1st only if the balance exceeds $100, is 90+ days past due, and multiple contact attempts have been made.
Most importantly, NO student will ever be denied a meal. Even if they have significant meal debt.

At tonight’s board meeting, the school board approved the hiring of our new Head Wrestling Coach, AJ Herrlein, and Director of Athlete Performance, Brett Sooter. Both of these additions will be transformative for Panther Athletics.
Our community has been asking for a wrestling program for several years, and we are excited to bring in one of the best to lead and build that program from the ground up. Alongside that, Brett’s role as Director of Athlete Performance is a brand-new position for our district. His work will focus on elevating our student-athletes through targeted strength and conditioning programs while also prioritizing injury prevention and overall athlete safety. #Limitless

✨ Celebrating Student Creativity Across Arkansas! ✨The Freestyle Fiddle: State Capitol Ornament Project invites students from every school district across Arkansas to design a hand-drawn ornament answering the question: How does “Arkansas Celebrates My Community” come to life where I live?

This special project gives students the chance to tell the story of their community through art, celebrating regional pride and ensuring every corner of Arkansas is represented.

Today is National Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! 🥳 Much of the incredible work this team does happens behind the scenes, so today we want to shine a light on their dedication and impact. When storms roll in, and most of us would rather stay in bed, these men have often been up for hours already—checking buildings and fixing leaks that may have appeared overnight. When snow falls, and we get to enjoy a cozy morning at home, they are out salting sidewalks and shoveling snow to make sure our campuses are safe when students and staff return. We are incredibly thankful for this hardworking group and all they do to keep our schools running smoothly every single day! 👏 #Limitless

We’re back! 🎉 Our 2026–27 school year calendars have been updated to reflect the new start and dismissal times for all buildings.
All elementary schools (excluding Pre-K) will now follow the same schedule, and all secondary schools (excluding Main Street Academy) will also be aligned. These staggered times are designed to improve traffic flow—especially around the Allen Elementary and Middle School North (Intermediate School) campuses.

What a night! 🤩🚀Our combined STEAM Night with Northside and Allen Elementary was a huge success—and we’re still smiling about it! We had coding, building challenges, brain puzzles, hands-on experiments, wall roller coasters, cardboard creations (huge thanks to Amazeum!), stomp rockets, and so much more. We estimate over 300 of you joined us last night, and the energy was incredible. 🧠✨This evening wouldn’t have been possible without the Siloam Springs Public Schools Foundation. Many of the activities you enjoyed were made possible through grant funding from the Foundation, and we’re so grateful for their continued support of hands-on, engaging learning for our students. Thank you to our families, staff, partners, and volunteers who made this such a fun and memorable night.

Did you know February is National Love the Bus Month? 🚌 And we truly love our bus drivers! They’re so much more than “just” bus drivers. They are moms and dads, sisters and brothers, grandparents, friends, and incredible coworkers—the list goes on. They’re often the first smiling face our students see in the morning and the last fist bump they get before heading home each day.
