Hey 3rd - 12th grade parents! 👋 This year our Southside Elementary, Intermediate School, and Middle School campuses are using the communication platform, "SchoolStatus". High School has been using this platform for a while now! This is how your child's teacher is going to communicate with you moving forward ☺
Down below is helpful information on how SchoolStatus works and what you can expect:
✔ You will have a direct line to your child's teacher/teachers.
✔ Each text will specifically list who is contacting you from our district so you know it is not "Spam". Save that contact number in your phone for future use!
✔ You can text that number at any time, BUT, teachers do have "office hours". If you text your child's teacher at 10 pm, they won't receive that notification until the next day during those allowed hours.

Today 6th grade artists in Mrs. Templeton's art class took time to work on their "looking skills". Good drawing begins with looking. Students chose objects and did four observation drawings to prepare for a still life project beginning this week! 🎨✏ #SSIS #PantherNation
