🌟 Let’s Raise Awareness for Mitochondrial Disease 🌟 In honor of Siloam Springs student Henry McKinney, we invite you to participate in Wear Orange Day! (Orange was Henry’s favorite color!) 🧡 WEAR ORANGE DAY will be on Friday, May 9th. We are celebrating this district-wide!
Every 30 minutes, a child is born who will develop a mitochondrial disease by age 10. Show your support by wearing your brightest orange as we raise awareness for mitochondrial disease and stand in solidarity with the families affected by it. Want to do more? You are invited to join the McKinney family in the fight against mitochondrial disease as they partner with the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF) for an Energy For Life Walk this fall!

It’s Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 🚌 We know February was Love the Bus Month, but let's be honest… we couldn’t do what we do without our incredible bus drivers every single day of the year! This is just a small glimpse of the phenomenal team who gets our students to and from school safely, with a smile, and often in rain, snow, or shine. Their early mornings and dedication don’t go unnoticed — they are the first friendly face many of our students see each day, and they make a huge difference.

At the Tuesday, April 8th board meeting, school board members unanimously approved Superintendent Patrick’s recommendation to designate Tuesday, May 27th as the official last day of school. This adjustment was made to account for previously missed instructional days and will remain in place as long as there are no additional unexpected school closures. Thank you for understanding!
Superintendent Shane Patrick recently traveled to Oklahoma to attend the Mid-America Dorper Show and Sale—and he wasn’t the only familiar face there! While at the event, he had the chance to catch up with two outstanding Siloam Springs students: 7th grader Hunter Stanfill and 11th grader Keelyn Seagraves.
Both Hunter and Keelyn proudly represented our district and walked away with some serious hardware—National Champion White Dorper Ram and Reserve Champion White Dorper Ewe! 🏆🐏
We’re so proud of their hard work, dedication, and the way they’re showcasing Panther excellence beyond the classroom. Congratulations, Hunter and Keelyn! #PantherNation
