Yesterday, we wrapped up "Bring your Legislator to School" month by hosting Congressman Womack at our high school! 🏫 The afternoon started with a Panther cheer from our Unified Cheer Team! 📣 Congressman Womack, Superintendent Patrick, Assistant Superintendent Carter, and Dr. Miller then showed our esteemed guest around several classrooms. September is "Take your Legislator to School Month"! Today, Rep. Kendra Moore, Senator Tyler Dees, and Rep. Randy Torres joined our 1st and 2nd graders at Allen Elementary. 🏫 They observed several classrooms amid their literacy labs and ended the tour in Ms. Honea's class. Today, our Special Olympics cheer team attended a local convention in Rogers to help promote their sport and raise awareness of Special Olympics in general! Our athletes had a jam-packed day filled with calling the hogs, making friends, and eating allllll the free sweet treats. 😋 #PantherNation

Our Siloam Springs High School students had the privilege of learning firsthand about the sacrifices made for our freedom from our local DAV, VFW, and American Legion. At tonight's game, Superintendent Patrick was spotted stepping up to help in the concession stand, embodying the incredible culture that is taking root in our Panther Nation. But it’s not just him—Assistant Superintendent Mr. Lawrence drives a school bus nearly every day, and Dr. McClung, Mr. Killian, and Mr. Schoonover are all in the process of obtaining their CDLs to help support our students by driving buses as well. Our leadership team is always willing to step up to the plate, showing that teamwork truly makes the dream work! Thank you to ALL the volunteers who help serve others in the evenings at games. Make way for the VIPs! 🥳 This past Friday night, we kicked off a new tradition of celebrating and recognizing the GREAT people who work in our district. From registrars to bus drivers, they all got that VIP treatment 🌟 Each home football game we will be implementing this new tradition of highlighting awesome staff across the district, so come on out and help us cheer them on alongside our athletes! 🐾
The administration, in conjunction with the School Resource Officers (SROs), has fully investigated and will continue to investigate ALL matters brought to our attention. All dangerous allegations are promptly reported to the administration and SROs, thoroughly investigated, and appropriate actions are taken against any involved. NOTHING is taken lightly, especially in light of recent national events. At this time, all investigations involve rumors and allegations, and no credible threat has been identified. We remain committed to examining all information shared with us to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Superintendent Shane Patrick will be present at the middle school tomorrow to directly monitor the situation and support students and staff.
