The shock, the joy, the happy tears… you could truly see the excitement on our teachers’ faces. One educator summed it up perfectly: “This is the most awesome thing to ever happen to me!”

Yesterday was a full and inspiring day in the Panther Nation! 🐾 Our School Board visited SSHS classrooms to see all the interactive learning happening between our educators and students. Later that evening, several Northside students with perfect attendance opened our Board meeting with the Pledge 🇺🇸. We celebrated recent wins from our FFA, 4H, and Ozark Media Arts Festival students, and honored our Employees of the Month—Doug Chastain and Christina Brown. 🎉
We also want to note that Zonda presented the proposed school zone boundaries as part of our ongoing goal of transitioning to neighborhood schools. Today, Siloam Springs High School held its annual Veterans Day Assembly — a special time dedicated to honoring those who have bravely served our country! We were grateful to welcome members of our local American Legion Post 29, along with other Siloam Springs veterans, who were celebrated and recognized for their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to our nation. Thank you to ALL who have served and continue to serve. We are forever grateful for your dedication and the freedoms you protect. ❤️🤍💙 #VeteransDay

In addition, a Facilities Master Plan Meeting will take place that same evening at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room. During this meeting, we’ll discuss the district’s six-year Facilities Master Plan and potential partnership projects with the State Facilities Division. We encourage all community members to attend and take part in the conversation!
The Arkansas Department of Education has released school letter grades for the 2024–25 school year, marking the first year of official ratings under the new ATLAS assessment system (Arkansas Teaching, Learning & Assessment System). We’re proud to share that the Siloam Springs School District earned a “B” rating — a strong reflection of our students’ growth and our staff’s dedication to teaching and learning. 🎉
Statewide, 122 schools earned an “A,” 291 earned a “B,” 352 earned a “C,” 137 earned a “D,” and 130 earned an “F.” The new grading system measures student proficiency and growth in English language arts, math, and science, as well as graduation rates and post-graduation readiness for high schools.

🎉 What a busy (and incredible!) day yesterday was in Panther Nation! From fall parties and Red Ribbon Week celebrations across our schools to our High School Multicultural Fair, where students proudly showcased their cultures through food, dance, and creative displays. 💃 We also celebrated Senior Night for football, band, and cross country, honored our cheer team as they received their National Champion rings, and highlighted our Central Office staff during the district’s VIPS event. 👏And to top it all off… our Panther Football Team brought home the win — their first conference victory in 5 years! 🏈🐾 #Limitless
