Update ❗ The school board meeting originally scheduled for this Thursday, January 9th, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 14th at 5:30 p.m. This change is due to the visitation for our late superintendent, Ken Ramey, taking place on the same night. Thank you for understanding.

Just a reminder, Panther Nation! We are keeping an eye on the upcoming weather and are dedicated to making the safest choice for our students and families. 🐾

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we remember the life and legacy of Ken Ramey, a dedicated leader who served as the Superintendent of the Siloam Springs School District for over 20 years. Throughout his career, Ken’s commitment to the students, staff, and community was nothing short of extraordinary. He was a steadfast advocate for education, always striving to ensure that every student had the opportunity to succeed.
As a leader, Ken led with integrity, kindness, and humility, always putting the needs of others before his own. His legacy is one of positive change and progress, and the community of Siloam Springs will forever be grateful for his service.
To Ken’s family, friends, and all whose lives he touched, we extend our deepest condolences. His presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit and the impact of his work will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

REMINDER ❗ The School Board meeting will be NEXT Thursday, Jan. 9th at 5:30 pm inside the admin building board room (3050 Cheri Whitlock Dr).

Last night’s board meeting was extra special as we had some very special guests in attendance! 🥰 We were thrilled to welcome five incredible kindergarten students from Northside Elementary. Their bright smiles and enthusiasm brought so much joy to our meeting. But the excitement didn’t stop there! During our celebrations, we were also treated to a beautiful performance by 15 talented 2nd graders from Allen Elementary. They shared a sneak peek of their upcoming Christmas program, filling the room with holiday cheer. For those who missed it, don’t worry! You can experience the full performance tomorrow night at Allen Elementary, starting at 5:30 PM. 🎶 We’re so proud of the amazing work happening in our schools! #PantherNation
Yesterday, we celebrated this quarter's graduates at Main Street Academy with a handprint ceremony! The most special part of this day is when our educators stand up and say how these students have impacted them. You hear details like, "Their bright smile every morning made it worth it" or "Having that extra helping hand with such a positive attitude made me as a teacher want to work harder and be better for our students". These are connections and memories that will last a lifetime! 💖 #PantherNation

Happy National Special Education Day!🎉 This day commemorates the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act into law on this day in 1975 (IDEA). IDEA granted access to children with special needs to free and quality public education. The act has been revised several times but the crux of it remains the same and is the foundation for special education in the U.S. Thank you to our exceptional special education team members for your tireless efforts. We are deeply grateful for your passion and dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of students and their families.! You are truly changing the world, one student at a time! 🥰 #PantherNation
Each year our district hosts an in-house holiday competition called, Reindeer Games. 🦌 These games bring out fierce, friendly competition, with events that change from year to year. But one thing remains the same – the quest for the Highly Coveted Trophy, bragging rights, and a surprise building reward! This year's games are hosted by ✨Jingle (our district Elf on the Shelf) and Jangle (his bodyguard) ✨. Jingle and Jangle are a mischievous pair and have decided to play *light-hearted* pranks on our Principals each week! With each prank, we will update you all on what building is in the lead for the competition! Can you guess who's office Jingle and Jangle tee-peed first?! 😋

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🍁🦃 Whether you're celebrating with a big feast, a quiet dinner, or in your own unique way, we hope your day is filled with warmth, gratitude, and joy. Wishing you all a peaceful and happy Thanksgiving! 🧡 #PantherNation

🌟 National Substitute Appreciation Day🌟 Today, we take a moment to shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals who step into classrooms, support our students, and make a difference every single day – our substitutes. But here at Siloam Springs School District, we don’t just call them substitutes. We call them guests. Why guests, you ask? That’s how we see them — as valued members of our school district who bring their unique talents, perspectives, and care into our classrooms. Whether they’re stepping in for a day or filling in during a long-term absence, our guests play an essential role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. They aren't just filling in—they are contributing to our school community and helping our students thrive! Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. 🎉📚 #PantherNation

📣 Collaboration in Action! Today, Siloam Springs School District leadership members and Principals visited the Russellville School District to exchange ideas, learn new strategies, and strengthen connections. It was a day filled with inspiring conversations and opportunities to grow together as educators. We believe teamwork is the key to success, and visits like these remind us of the power of collaboration in shaping the future for our students. 🐾 #PantherNation
